Lightened-Up Guacamole
Serves: Makes 1-1/2 cups

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 can green tomatoes (tomatillos), drained
1 (15 mL) tablespoon lime juice
2 avocados, pitted and peeled
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons (25 mL)fresh cilantro
Corn tortilla chips & assorted fresh vegetables
Cooking Instructions:
Put the first five ingredients into the blender container. Cover and PULSE on MEDIUM or LOW until chopped finely or to desired consistency. Pour into bowl and serve with tortilla chips and assorted fresh veggies.
Personal Story:
This is a delicious dip that allows you to eat more of the guacamole without the guilt. The tomatillas or green tomatoes give you extra dips without the extra fat. Use veggies instead of corn chips to be very virtuous! A heaping spoonful on a bbq burger is the ultimate!
