Oatmeal Sourdough Pancakes
Have you joined the sourdough club? If you find yourself with starter and no time to go through the full process of baking a loaf of bread, the starter is an amazing addition to quick and easy pancakes.
Serves: 4
Ready In: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
3/4 cup sourdough starter
1/4 cup melted butter or oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
Cooking Instructions:
In medium mixing bowl, whisk together milk, starter, butter, sugar and eggs.
In small bowl combine flour and baking powder; stir into wet ingredients.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and coat with melted butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet, and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip with a spatula, and cook until browned on the other side.
Serve with fresh berries and maple syrup
